Who I am

This site is hosted on Squarespace, which sets the cookies below. Necessary cookies are always used, but analytics and performance cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner.

Analytics and performance cookies

These let Squarespace's analytics recognise repeat visitors and follow visits, so I can see traffic and where visitors come from. I only use them if you accept them, and my legal basis is your consent.

Functional and marketing cookies

This site doesn't use functional, advertising or marketing cookies.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and performance cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you accept.

You can change your mind or withdraw consent at any time by using [the cookie settings link or button on the site: edit to match your banner] or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back so you can choose again. Third parties

• Squarespace hosts the site and provides its analytics. See its privacy policy and cookie policy.

• Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts supply the site's fonts and may receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads. See Google's privacy policy and Adobe's privacy policy.

• Instagram (Meta) This site links to my Instagram profile. The link doesn't load anything from Instagram or share your information with it while you browse here. If you click it, you leave this site, and Instagram's own cookies and privacy policy apply.

Transfers outside the UK and EEA

I don't choose to send your information abroad. However, Squarespace, Google and Adobe operate internationally, mainly from the US, so information collected through cookies may be processed outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Each explains the safeguards it uses in its own privacy policy, linked above.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how I use it, or receive a copy of it. Contact me at [your email address] to do any of these. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
